Intellectual Property Litigation PATENTS(Household product company v. US listed corporation). This was a patent infringement and false advertising case based upon (i) infringement of our client's patent for a household cleaner and (ii) false advertising through implied contract and performance claims for a replacement product. We were lead counsel to a team of multi-state lawyers and successfully concluded the matter in favor of our client for a multi-million dollar settlement. Details cannot be divulged due to a confidentiality clause in the settlement agreement. Netcentives Inc. v. Beenz.com, Case No. 00cv2637 (ND Ca). This was an action brought by Netcentives Inc. for alleged infringement of a patent directed to on-line incentive programs. We represented FreeRide.com LLC one of the major on-line incentive program companies and reached a favorable settlement on its behalf. McGrew v. Bridgestone Graphic Technologies, Inc., Case No. 99cs0245 (ED Wash., Spokane). This action was for alleged infringement of a patent directed to the manufacture of holograms. We were patent counsel to the Defendant and the case was voluntarily dismissed against our client with prejudice. BOA (U.K.) Limited v. Ideavillage.com LLC, Case No.02cv2473 (S.D.N.Y.). This is a pending action for patent, trade dress, copyright and related common law and state claims, relating to the alleged infringement of a strap wrench design in which we represent Defendant.
